Bistro Vue

Not many restaurants (well, not many that we can afford anyway) request credit card details when you make a reservation. Bistro Vue does, and charges a $50 cancellation fee per head for a no-show. I find that somewhat annoying, but am willing to let it go if the food is good. And was the food at Bistro Vue good? Yes! Very good in fact, all the way from the steak tartare right down to the chocolate souffle. Although paying $8 for a paper cone of fries (even if they are delicious fries, cooked in goose fat) seems a wee bit excessive...

Hi Ange and Simon,

Being a fellow blogger, I know how nice it is if people post comments :)

Love the shot of Bistro Vue. Irvin and Sharon took us there before we left and the choc souffle is to die for!!

Simon - we saw PSV train last weekend before their awful loss against Ajax. Paul and I went on a tour of the stadium and I was about a metre away from Patrick Kluivert as we also got to go down to the change rooms during our tour. Didn't have a clue who he was, but Paul was speechless!!

Love
